How do we make postcards float to make a giant picture, this was the question asked to Sapphire Signs? Not to shy away from a challenge there were several discussions and proto-types made to find a solution. The agency that works for the Royal British Legion had found the image to be used and posted out thousands of cards to ask people for their thoughts, 40 years after the conflict. These messages were to form the reverse side of the picture and a miniature version was also required for the Falkland Islands. After weeks of design finally, there was a solution. The build was huge both at the factory and on-site along with the move to the National Memorial Arboretum which would be its home for a few weeks. But the team pulled it off and the agency was delighted to see their vision become a reality. The next stage is to move the memorial to its final spot for all to see.
